Title: AuSPEN ASM 2008
AuSPEN ANNUAL SCIENTIFIC MEETING – WITH APCCC 2008 GET YOUR ABSTRACTS IN DON’T MISS THE EARLY BIRD DISCOUNT
All members of AuSPEN are reminded of the 2008 Annual Scientific Meeting which will be held as part of the Asia Pacific Critical Care Congress (APCCC) in Sydney from October 30th to November 2nd, 2008. Asia Pacific Critical Care 2008 involves Intensive Care Societies from many countries in Asia, Australia, and New Zealand and is an awesome opportunity for you to have scientific and social interaction with our local critical care community. It will be a large meeting at one of the best conference facilities in the world - Darling Harbour in Sydney, Australia. The theme is a celebration of Intensive Care. There will be a nutrition program right throughout the 3 day program with several sessions devoted entirely to critical care nutrition and several to nutrition in areas away from the ICU. We believe that there will be something in the program for everyone, whether you are a dietitian, nurse, pharmacist or doctor. YOU WILL NOT WANT TO MISS THIS MEETING. The nutrition stream has several international speakers attending including Prof Daren Heyland, Dr Gary Zaloga and Prof Paul Wischmeyer. There are also local experts from the medical, dietitian, pharmacy and nutrition fields. All delegates will be able to attend any of the other sessions of the meeting. THIS IS THE IDEAL OPPORTUNITY TO SHOWCASE YOUR WORK AT AN INTERNATIONAL MEETING. The deadline for abstracts is June 30th 2008. The best 5 nutrition abstracts will be selected for an oral presentation in 2 of the nutrition sessions. All others will be eligible to be presented as a poster. There is a very attractive discount for allied health delegates, especially if you also make the early-bird deadline. The early-bird registration closes on July 30th 2008. The price of registration includes 2 social functions - the Welcome Party on the Thursday night and the Gala Dinner on the Saturday night.
