Education Committee

The AuSPEN Education Committee coordinates and drives the educational programme for AuSPEN. In doing so, the committee will ensure AuSPEN and the wider community are kept abreast of best practices in all facets of Clinical Nutrition.  The group reports directly to the AuSPEN Council.

Roles of the committee are to:

  • Oversee organisation of AuSPEN's webinar programme

  • Coordinate the running of the Advanced Nutrition Course

  • Organise other educational events such as the Consumer HPN Workshop and Podcast Series

  • Seek opportunities to co-host educational events in the field of Clinical Nutrition

  • Endorse multi-disciplinary nutrition educational events run by other organisations as required eg AuSPEN local meetings

  • Liaise with ESPEN regarding hosting of Lifelong Learning programmes (LLL) at the AuSPEN Annual Scientific Meeting

  • Coordinate the running of the AuSPEN-St Marks Intestinal Failure and Rehabilitation Workshop
