Marketing and Communications Committee (MCC)
The Marketing and Communications Committee coordinates and drives the marketing and communications strategy for AuSPEN. In doing so, the committee will ensure AuSPEN is recognised as an innovative and authoritative Australasian leader in multidisciplinary clinical practice, research and innovation of parenteral and enteral nutrition practice.
Roles of the committee are to:
The business of the committee is to ensure AuSPEN has strong multidisciplinary focused marketing and communications strategy using web-based interfaces, social media, and links with professional organisations. The group reports directly to the AuSPEN Council.
The group will:
Provide and maintain a consistent and evidence-based presence for the organisation on web based interfaces and international social media platforms
Utilise social media platforms to advertise and promote organisation activities and resources, including the promotion of links for other organisations including ESPEN
Grow and maintain strong relationships with other relevant organisations and multidisciplinary professional bodies
Maintain the content and currency of the AuSPEN website and MyInteract in consultation with stakeholders to ensure it reflects the activities and strategic plan of the organisation
Communicate upcoming AuSPEN events and affiliations to all members and partnering professional bodies.
Promote all external sponsors of AuSPEN activities on the organisation’s website
Coordinate membership feedback through the development, delivery and analysis of online surveys and polls to inform the Strategic Direction of AuSPEN
