Home Parenteral Nutrition Governance Steering Committee
The AuSPEN Home Parenteral Nutrition (HPN) Governance Steering Committee was created in 2022 to provide leadership and governance for AuSPEN HPN activities. The group reports directly to the AuSPEN Council.
Aims:
Oversee the development of the AuSPEN HPN registry including governance
Oversee the formation of the AuSPEN HPN working groups and provide leadership for these groups (registry, model of care, guidelines and education)
Oversee the guide development of AuSPEN HPN projects
Management of legal and sponsorship agreements related to HPN
Ensure interdisciplinary collaboration and equitable representaition
Goals:
Work closely with PNDU to ensure the IF consumer voice is at the forefront of all work AuSPEN does in this area
Continue to drive the expansion of the AuSPEN HPN registry
Co-design a HPN model of care
Lead the development of GLP-2 analogue guidelines
Plan for future guideline development
Oversee the running of the AuSPEN IF workshop every third year
